Slow HTTP attacks are attacks in which the attacker sends HTTP requests in pieces slowly, one at a time to a Web server. It especially uses HTTP protocol to connect with the server and to keep the resources busy such as CPU and RAM. Slowhttptest is one of the DoS attacking tools. Having this setup done, we are going to explore the tools used for Stress Testing one by one.
So, two virtual machines are going to be used, one has Kali Linux installed on it, with the necessary tools for Stress Testing needed, and the other is the machine we are going to exploit, Metasploitable, a vulnerable-by-design machine.
